A new director’s cut of the cult classic film 54 will feature 36 minutes of scrapped footage–including a discarded sex scene between Ryan Phillippe and Breckin Meyer.

The movie that was originally released in 1998 was said to be so heavily edited that the love-triangle between Phillippe, Breckin and Selma Hayek had all gay references removed due to the movie being “tested it out in malls in Long Island and places like that, and that audience was split between the cool people who loved it and the homophobes in the audience.” director Mark Christopher explained to Variety Magazine.

The 54 director’s cut will be available on June 2. But until then, enjoy that unforgettable moment when we are first introduced to Phillippe’s ripped torso when he first enters the 54 club.
