It’s been eight years since Britney Spears was last on Australian soil, but there are now reports she’s lining up a “handful of gigs” for later this year.
According to the UK’s Daily Star tabloid, Britney is locking in dates now for a makeshift world tour… that INCLUDES AUSTRALIA!
Some of these have already been announced, including Japan from June 3-6, Philippines on June 15, Hong Kong on June 27 and Tel Aviv on July 3.

The Daily Star claims dates for Australia, Argentina, Brazil, France and England will be confirmed soon.
It fact, there are “a handful of gigs” apparently in the works for Australia!
The concert itself will be a stripped back version of her ‘Piece Of Me’ show in Vegas, missing a few of the larger sets.
The tour is part of Britney’s new deal with Live Nation, which is no doubt keen to do as many shows as possible. Live Nation is bringing Little Mix to Australia in July.
The most likely dates for a Britney Australian tour this year (outside of her Vegas commitments) are June/July, late September, late November or early December.
Fingers crossed these reports are true!
